This is quite probably going to be a long post, so grab a cuppa or whatever you choose, take a seat and get comfortable. There is a lot of icky detail and perhaps not the usual happy, … Continue reading A time to reflect

Just a little catch up…
Where do I start?! It’s been a really busy few months. Mostly hell but occasionally some nice busy in there too. We’ve had a house move and Covid (twice!) to deal with, I’ve also had a ‘mystery’ medical issue and just couldn’t get an answer from anyone but thankfully I’ve now managed to get some answers, not all, but some! More on that in another post. Fingers crossed we are finally through most of it now. Onwards and upwards so they say.
Hearing aids and heels…
The hearing aids bit anyway! I had a bit of a moment the other day where I felt really stupid. And I mean really stupid. Like I was incompetent and worthless stupid. It’s a more frequent occurrence than I would like!

Is it really all about the likes and stats?
I’ve found myself becoming more and more concerned about the amount of engagement I have and focusing on the stats of my page recently. I mean, let’s face it, I’m putting myself out there and opening myself up to the world, so why not, right? But I’m finding I’ve noticed I check my stats often, … Continue reading Is it really all about the likes and stats?
A little catch up…
A huge heartfelt 'I've missed you all, I've missed writing and sorry for not being about much'. I feel this is like being at church in the confessional, "Dear father, it's been 8 months since my last confession...". Okay so maybe it's no quite so, but I do feel guilty a little for not being … Continue reading A little catch up…
Happy New Year
I was hoping that this was going to be a good 2021, but as I write we have been thrown back into a third lockdown here in the UK. That said there is still an opportunity to make it a little more positive. The start of a new year usually heralds a host of new … Continue reading Happy New Year
